Fresh Press!

20 Oct

I was perusing WordPress when I noticed a freshly pressed article titled 10 Social Media Marketing Ideas Cool as Ice Cream with Sizzle Like Bacon.

It goes over how the market is changing based on the audience, and noting the success of companies doing such! A quick read, and interesting as it provides input on how revising and supporting basic principles of social media, usability, and marketing can help even new markets grow! The article is fast and witty, and very simply grazes over the idealization that social media doesn’t have to be rocket science-it just needs to get the relevant information out there, in a simple straightforward fashion.

If you want to have a breeze of how the human mind actually shapes what can, or will, work in usability and social media, give it 5 minutes of your day!

Glad you’re discovering interesting blogs (didn’t know you were interested in marketing. or social media.)

Yes! I do graphic design work on the side, so I dabble a little bit into both. It’s interesting to see how there are so many principles that stand a test of time, and how a small portion of them are constantly revised; then again it’s also interesting to see how many people do not understand basic principles and still get hired. I’m particularly a big stickler about color and layout theory in website design and advertising.
